Description: Desktop and site-based flora and fauna assessments within a significant area (National Park) associated with an infrastructure project design to deliver ecological benefits within the park. Assessing the proposed benefits of operating the infrastructure against the impacts of construction and installing it. Our assessments of the values and risks at the site enable the Project to utilise the Conservation Exemption associated with removal of native vegetation in the Victorian Planning Provisions (Clause 52.17). Our assessments also facilitated the development of the Project’s Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) which we implemented through our on-site ecologist role in construction.
